Named after her two distinctly unique assistants, April Mun started Stella & jamie with the intention of making clothes for the people she loves. With a vision of rich fabrics, colors and attention to fit, Stella & jamie echoes a world of bygone glamour and effortless beauty. April is the Company’s founder and head designer. She has over ten years of experience designing women’s contemporary wear and has worked for companies including Luciano Soprani of Italy and Cynthia Rowley of New York.
Stella & jamie is a product of April’s fashion industry experience - from her days as an FIT student thriving in Manhattan’s bustling Midtown surrounded by budding designers and artists - to the present day, as she begins her journey with her own company.
Focusing on the rich and sumptuous fabrics contrasted by careful detailing, Stella & jamie celebrates the simplicity of textured solids, luminous in nature.
